Running with me (4Q 2013-2014)

Back in january I wrote a post highlighting my upcoming races, encouraging you all to join me. That list sort of thinned out by the fourth quarter of 2013, so this will act as a follow up.  If you’ve ever wanted to get into endurance running, try obstacle course racing, or improve your overall fitness, I suggest joining me on one of these runs.

So after finishing my first triathlon in September, the Publix Escape to Miami Sprint triathlon, I figured I would re-examine which races I had planned for the upcoming months, this will also help forma  strategic training program. Note if you think I should add a race in here, let me know in the comments.  Most of these races are running events near Miami, FL. Sadly there is no good comprehensive calendar in Miami for endurance events. If I have some time in November I might whip one up.

  • 11/2 – Tough Mudder Central Florida – Team: “Participants” msg me if you want password to join
  • 11/16 – Ultimate titan 10k obstacle race – Miami. (Not sure if I want to do this one)
  • 11/28 – Turkey trot 10k (tropical park, Miami, FL) or
  • 11/28 – Turkey Triathlon – Coconut Creek, FL (not sure which I want to do)

  • 12/7 – Key West Triathlon – (not sure yet)
  • 12/8 – Challenge Mud Run – 5 Miler, only if not doing Key West
  • 12/8 – Palm Beach Half Marathon

  • 2/2 – ING Miami Marathon 26.2

  • 3/2 – Miami Beach half marathon
